Karl Daniel is born and bred in Tauranga. As our founder and operator of Access Mini Cranes, Karl has a rich background in engineering and a deep understanding of the crane industry, having worked with cranes throughout his professional life.
Karl’s experience as a metal fabrication engineer provided him with a deep understanding of how to design and operate machinery, which he used to create a mini crane on a 4WD Toyota Land Cruiser. He soon saw another opening in the market and expanded his fleet with a Hiab.
Access Mini Cranes offers 4×4 Mini Crane solutions across the residential, farming/agricultural, and industrial sectors to access places that others can’t. Whether you require building supplies shifted to the site or your new spa safely lifted onto the deck, Access Mini Cranes can offer professional lift and shift services for all situations. Our crane offers a lift of 2.55 tonnes at a 1.6m reach, and 500kg at a maximum reach (6.8m).
Karl holds several NZQA training certificates to ensure he is up-to-date on the latest safety and operation techniques. Access Mini Cranes is committed to safety, providing top-quality equipment and skilled operators to handle a wide range of lifting and transport needs.
In addition to his extensive experience in the crane industry, Karl has a rich background as a metal fabricator. Karl’s expertise and work ethic led him to be invited to work on projects across the globe, from Antarctica and South America to Australia.
